The Omaha Police Officer's Association has responded to the complaint filed by Tanny Oliver, the woman arrested at the Donald Trump rally earlier this month.

Officials say Oliver's arrest took place in front of people and other officers.

They believe that there is  a partial video of the incident that was filmed.

In a statement , OPOA said that they take exception to the version of events that transpired that day.

Officials called the complaint "at best a distortion of the actual facts and at worst an outright fabrication of the events that occurred."

Tanny Oliver said she was with protesters at the Trump rally when she ducked behind a bush to urinate. Oliver said that's when police put her in handcuffs without allowing her to pull her pants up first.

Oliver also said the officers were taking pictures of her and commented on her looks.

"It it the right of anyone to file a complaint against an Omaha Police Officer, if they so choose, an official said.

"However, that does not mean someone has the right to file a false complaint nor publicly defame the involved officers,"

OPOA added that it is a sad day when individuals and groups invent a story to further their personal or political agenda at the expense of professional, dedicated, and hard working Omaha Police Officers.
