OPPD: truck crash caused power outage in Central Omaha

OPPD is reportingthat about 1,898 customers are were without power. Monday afternoon.

OPPD officials say they have a report that a truck caused the outage when it crashed into a pole, knocking down the pole and wires.

 

Officials added customers in the area lost power at 2:39 p.m.

The area impacted includes Woolworth to Grover Streets, 54th to 84th Streets.

Officials said power was fully restored at 3:24 p.m.
