OPS board to consider renovations, land...

Nebraska’s largest school district will consider new building projects Monday. The proposals in front of the Omaha Public School Board also include buying land for a new high school

The board will vote on a $1.35 Million purchase of property near 156th and Ida. Board members will also discuss upgrades at several OPS middle schools, including rebuilding Beveridge Middle School.

The plan would also move Florence elementary to the Mills building near 30th and Taylor for the 2017-18 school year, while the current school is upgraded.

The OPS board meets Monday night.
