Paul Ryan stands behind Don Bacon

With just a little over a week left before Election Day house speaker Paul Ryan made a stop in Omaha to show his support for congressional candidate Don  Bacon.

"You know that Don is on the right side of the polls, but the polls are close, this means we have to execute," said House Speaker Paul Ryan.

In just about a week people will line up to elect new country leaders and Paul Ryan says America is off track.

"To reclaim our country's founding principles, to restore our constitution, to rebuild our national security, to clean up the tax code, replace Obama Care, get people from welfare to work and restore self accountable government," Ryan said.

While encouraging people to vote Ryan didn't mention Donald Trump but took shots at Hillary Clinton.

"This Clinton scandal doesn't change, it's scandal after scandal after scandal,” Ryan said.

"You don't know which one is coming next, and it is not what we want this country to become," Ryan continued.

Ryan says Bacon is on the right side of the agenda and will execute.

"29 years of military service, that means we have an effective conservative, he won't just say conservative things, he will be a conservative leader," Ryan said.

The rally didn't end without Bacon reminding people why he thinks Representative Brad Ashford is the wrong choice.

"Our incumbent has it wrong, he voted for Nancy Pelosi on a very first vote, if that wasn't enough he did it again and he's pledged to do it a third time," Don Bacon said.

Both Ryan and Bacon want to eliminate Obama Care, a system they say is hurting this country.
