Omaha Police officials are investigating fatal accidental shooting involving 18-year-old male near Grand and 36th St.
Officials said they arrived in the 4700 block of N. 36th Avenue where they located a deceased party who had been shot.
Investigators say an 18-year-old was playing with a gun -when it went off, hitting him in the face.
Omaha Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the scene and it is ongoing.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Derrick Vaughn.
