Police:Tip leads to arrest for pharmacy robbery

Posted

Investigators say a Crime Stoppers tip helped them make an arrest in connection with prescription drug robberies.

Police say they arrested 23-year-old Kaleb Marsolek Friday after searching his home on Binney Street, near 97th Street.

“The Omaha Police Department would like to thank the community for coming forward and using the Crime Stoppers program! We were able to take the suspect into custody with your help,” officials said in a statement Monday.

He faces charges in connection with the attempted robbery of the CVS pharmacy at 132nd Street and West Center Road, on Tuesday, Dec. 15, followed by the robbery of the CVS pharmacy at 48th and Dodge streets less than an hour later.

He also had a role in July 7 robbery of the pharmacy at the 72nd and Pacific streets Walmart, police said.

Investigators said they found evidence from the robbery in the search of Marsolek’s home.
