Police investigate double-shooting in South Omaha

Omaha Police are investigating a shooting Monday night that injured at least two men in South Omaha.

About 9:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to the area of 19th and Washington streets.

One victim was found at the scene while a second victims showed up at a nearby fire station, No. 31 near 25th and L streets, OPD Officer Phil Anson said.

Both men were rushed to Nebraska Medicine, one in extremely critical condition.

Anson said police are looking for two suspects, describing them as in their late teens to early 20s, possibly Hispanic, and driving a recent-model white Cadillac.

Several blocks in the area are blocked off by authorities as they continue to investigate the scene.
