Police: Traffic stop leads to 3 arrests

A traffic stop Wednesday led to the discovery of a handgun and three arrests, police say.

The Omaha Police Department says officers pulled over a vehicle near 16th and Victor streets around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

They say they found a gun and marijuana in the vehicle, leading to three arrests:

Malik Cotton, 20 – Charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possessing an unregistered firearm, unlawful transport, and possession of a concealed gun while under 21

Maurice Buckley, 20 - carrying a concealed weapon, possessing an unregistered firearm, unlawful transport, and possession of a concealed gun while under 21

Gene Milton, 19 - carrying a concealed weapon, possessing an unregistered firearm, unlawful transport, possession of a concealed gun while under 21, and possession of marijuana.
