In recent weeks, anti-immigration flyers have been posted throughout Omaha and Papillion.
Last week, signs inPapillion called on people to report undocumented immigrants, saying it's their civic duty.
Now people who saw or heard about the anti-immigration posters from last week are seeing new flyers welcoming refugees and immigrants.
Several posters appeared near 50th and Dodge Streets, one saying 'No to deportations,' and the other criticizing borders. Another sign, allegedly posted by the ACLU shows the Statue of Liberty welcoming immigrants and refugees.
Businesses in the Dundee area told 3 News Now, the neighborhood is very welcoming.
"I feel like there is so much hatred that we're just losing insight on why we're in the United States - home of the free," said Denise Bower, who works at Cupcake! Omaha. "We're a melting pot. We're forgetting about the Statue of Liberty and what she represents."
People in the area said they don't know who made the posters or who posted them throughout the neighborhood.
