Omaha Police investigators have arrested a second suspect in the killing of a man found dead in a car parked at an OPD precinct in November.
Govenor D. Tate, 19, was arrested and booked with on charges of first-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony — the same charges as those placed against Tyjanae Allen, 18, when she was booked on Dec. 13.
Julio Cesar-Ortega, 29, was found dead Nov. 9 at the OPD Northeast Police Assembly after an officer returning to the precinct noticed a car parked in the lot. The officer approached the vehicle and found the dead man inside the vehicle.
The death was investigated as a homicide, according to the initial police report. During the investigation, detectives said they determined the main had been injured elsewhere, then drove to the station, where he died.
