OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Police say a 13-year-old boy was sent to Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries after being shot Friday night.
At 9:13 p.m., officers reported to 4801 Spaulding Street for a shooting. Witnesses say a male victim was walking to the address when a light skinned black male exited a possible grey Nissan Maxima that was parked nearby and began firing a gun at the victim.
The victim, identified as 13-year-old Ryan J. Eckhardt, was struck by gunfire once and was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, a press release from the Omaha Police Department says.

Information leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in a shooting are eligible for an enhanced reward of $10,000.
