Before the Nebraska Furniture Mart doors opened at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, shoppers braved the cold to camp out and stand in line.

At the front of the line were campers who said they set up around 3:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Security officers at the retail giant said this was the first year they've seen so many tents and sleeping bags.
Those in the tents, expressed their gratitude for the shelter.
"It's a lot better. It's darn cold tonight. Even with the tent and about seven blankets, it's still pretty darn cold," said Byron Kunkel.
Once the door's opened, shoppers had their pick of deals on iPad minis and large TVs.
