Police are investigating a case of attempted child enticement in Bennington.
The Bennington School District sent out a notice to parents warning them that a suspicious dark red compact SUV was in a parking lot after school Monday. A man inside the vehicle made contact with a student and attempted to convince them to get into the vehicle. The student did not get inside and the family immediately contacted school administrators.
The notice did not specify which school the incident happened at.
