Police activity in the area of 132nd Street and West Dodge Roadcaused delays during the evening commute.
The Nebraska Department of Roads said, around 5:15 p.m., the right shoulder of the westbound lane of West Dodge Road was closed at 132nd Street.
In a post on Twitter, the Omaha Police Department said a suspect in a stolen car was in custody after the successful deployment of stop sticks. Police say the suspect tried to carjack at least two drivers before they were able to arrest him.

Police say they began keeping track of the vehicle after an officer tried to stop it near 30th and Pratt streets. The police helicopter followed the driver from above as it wound through the metro, at times against the flow of traffic and over the speed limit.
The suspect ditched the vehicle after police deployed stopsticks and tried to carjack other vehicles in the are before being taken into custody, police said.
