A two-car crash shut down eastbound Highway 370 from 192nd to 183rd streets Thursday morning; the area remained closed until Thursday afternoon.
At 7:52 a.m. Thursday, a 42-year-old man driving a red Buick had stopped at the 186th Street intersection and was attempting to turn east when he was hit by a black pickup truck traveling west in the outside lane of Highway 370, according to Lt. Mike Erhart of the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.
The Buick driver was transported in critical condition to the hospital by helicopter. The other driver pickup driver, a 45-year-old man, was not injured.
