Police confirmed they are investigating a northeast Omaha death as a homicide. Officers were called to 1502 Willis Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Police say Derek T. DeWolf, 54, was in discovered in a vacant home. Police say the man is homeless. After a brief investigation, they believe he was murdered. An autopsy will determine more information about the man’s death.
