Police update on North Omaha crash

Omaha Police remain at the scene of a serious crash in North Omaha.
 
Police say the crash involving three vehicles happened just after 3 Monday afternoon at 33rd and Ames. Investigators believe an SUV ran a stop sign and struck two other vehicles.  A total of four people were transported to CHI Creighton for treatment. Three other people were unhurt.
 
Police say a southbound Chevy Tahoe ran a stop sign and collided with a silver Jeep heading westbound. Then a red Nissan Quest heading eastbound hit the Tahoe as well. 4 victims from Tahoe and Quest were not wearing seat belts. All are expected to be ok. Most serious is driver of the Tahoe. The three people in the Jeep, 2 adults and one child were not hurt. 
 
Police ran the back plates on the Tahoe and suspect it is stolen.
