Texas country music artist Kylie Rae Harris dies in car crash

TAOS COUNTY, N.M. — Texas country music artist Kylie Rae Harris, 30, died in a car crash on Wednesday night.

According to Billboard , Harris' publicist said they were heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night.

Two people died in the three-vehicle crash in northern New Mexico Wednesday night, according to the Associated Press. The Taos County Sheriff's Office said a 16-year-old girl was also killed in the crash and that the third driver escaped injury.

Kylie Rae Harris leaves behind a young daughter, Corbie.

She grew up in a small town, Wylie, Texas, near Dallas. She has released two albums and most recently, her self-titled EP in March.
