The heaviest snow amounts from Monday’s winter storm fell north and east of the Omaha metro, according to weather reports.
The National Weather Service Omaha office says between 1 and 5 inches of snow fell in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.
“Highest amounts shifted east 50 to miles than originally thought,” NWS officials said in a post on Twitter.

- Bellevue: 3.4 inches
- Fremont: 3.5 inches
- Omaha: 4 inches
- Nebraska City: 3 inches
- Norfolk: 2 inches
- Plattsmouth: 3.8 inches
- Atlantic, Iowa: 4 inches
- Storm Lake, Iowa: 8 inches
Eppley Airport set a Dec. 28 daily record measuring 4.2 inches of snow.
