Game 11 of the College World Series featured Oklahoma State (2-0) against Arizona (2-1). It was win or go home for the Wildcats, and they got on the board early. This marked the first time Oklahoma State trailed in the 2016 College World Series.

Back-to-back doubles and an RBI single gave Arizona a three run lead in the top of the second inning.

A sac fly scored a run for Arizona in the top of the fourth, pushing its lead to 4-0. After a two out walk, a triple from Oklahoma State’s Conor Costello brought in Oklahoma State’s first run of the game. A wild pitch later scored Costello, putting the score at 4-2. A play at the plate saved a run for Oklahoma State in the bottom of the sixth inning, keeping the Arizona lead at just two.

Arizona added three insurance runs in the top of the ninth inning, giving the Wildcats a 9-2 lead. Cameron Ming allowed just one run in the bottom of the ninth, securing a game tomorrow for a spot in the championship.
