Oregon State is the 2018 College World Series champion with a win over Arkansas behind an impressive performance from freshman pitcher Kevin Abel.
The Beavers trailed game two 3-2 in the 8th inning, but came back in dramatic fashion to force a game three Thursday.
Abel threw 23 pitches in relief in Thursday's matchup, but still started game three Thursday. Abel recorded 10 strikeouts in a two-hit shutout over the Razorbacks.
Adley Rustchman became the first player in CWS history to record 16 hits in a single series, while the Beavers' Trevor Larnach came in a close second with 15 hits.
