Now, that is a lot of water. The Olympic pool is about 94 times bigger than an average swimming pool. In case you were wondering how big the pool actually is, you could fill it with:
-
26,180,000 average-sized oranges
-
8,945 hot tubs
-
861,373 basketballs
-
18,133,333 cans of beer
- 215,985,000 gum balls
That's a lot of gum balls. The Olympic Swim Trials are set to begin June 26th and will continue until July 3rd.
