The Creighton men's basketball team lost for the first time this season in a non-conference matchup with Ohio State 69-60 in the Gavitt Tipoff Games Thursday night.
The Bluejays fell behind 37-25 at the end of the first due to offensive struggles and 11 first-half turnovers.
Creighton came roaring back with a 23-11 run to start the second half to tie things up at 48 with just under 10 minutes left.

The Bluejays regained a 55-54 lead with 5:40 left in the game for the first time since the game was 14-13 with 9:50 remaining in the first half.
However, Ohio State was able to close out Creighton with a 13-0 run to end the game.
Ty-Shon Alexander led the Jays in scoring with 16 points to go along with six rebounds and three assists.
Creighton struggled from deep, hitting just six of their 19 three point shots. The Jays shot just 44% from the field.
Up next for Creighton is a matchup with Boise State in the Cayman Island Classic Monday at 6:30 p.m.
