The Creighton men's basketball team is headed to Sacramento, California in the Midwest Region as a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Jays will take on No. 11 seeded Rhode Island Friday at approximately 3:20 p.m. CST on TBS in the first round, with a chance to meet up with former Creighton coach Dana Altman's Oregon Ducks in the second round.
This will be Creighton's 20th NCAA Tournament bid in program history and the fourth time in the last six seasons.
The Jays are set to play Friday, but broadcast and time details will come later. Should Creighton make a run to the Sweet 16, the Jays would play in Kansas City. Here's a look at the rest of the region's matchups:
