Marcus Foster hits game-winning three pointer as Creighton survives against DePaul

As March looms even closer for Creighton men's basketball, a loss on the road at DePaul would certainly be a blemish on the Bluejays' NCAA Tournament resume.  But thanks to Marcus Foster, Creighton survived a road upset against the Blue Demons, leaving Chicago Wednesday night with a 76-75 win.

Down 75-73 with just under 20 seconds left in the game, Foster stepped back and hit the game-winning three for the Bluejays with just 16 seconds remaining.  DePaul had a chance to answer on the opposite end, but Toby Hegner picked up a clutch steal with three seconds left to seal the win for CU.

Foster led all scorers with 29 points.  Khyri Thomas added 18 points for the Bluejays as well.

Creighton now improves to 18-6 overall and 8-4 in Big East play.  Next up for the Bluejays, CU returns home Saturday afternoon for a big match-up against No. 5 Xavier. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. on FOX.
