The Creighton women's team tips off its preseason a week from Tuesday against Nebraska-Kearney.
Coach Flannery added four newcomers to his squad and says the team's depth will be important come regular season.
"This can be a pretty deep team this year and our freshman are competitive and I feel if we have all of the pieces through the whole year this will be a team where we don't have to play kids as many minutes as we did last year," Flannery said.
The Jays and Lopers tip-off on Tuesday October 23 at 7 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena.
