OKLAHOMA CITY (KMTV) — The Nebraska baseball team was blown out by UCONN on Sunday, 16-1, to have its season come to an end at the Oklahoma City regional.
The Huskers ended the year with a 32-24 record.
NU fell behind 3-0 early before scoring its lone run on an RBI single by Angelo Altavilla in the bottom of the 4th. But the Huskies outscored Nebraska 13-0 the rest of the way.
The Big Red was outscored 22-1 in the final 13 innings of the regional, after blowing a five run lead late Saturday night against Oklahoma State.
