Nebraska baseball turned the tide in game number two of a doubleheader against Iowa on Friday night, avenging a loss in the afternoon and beating the Hawkeyes, 10-4, at Hawks Field. The win is just the Huskers second in their last seven games.
Junior Angelo Altavilla made his first start in two weeks after dealing with a hamstring injury, and Altavilla returned with some power. Altavilla blasted his first two home runs of the season, part of a 2-for-4 night that included three RBI's.
Nebraska improves to 16-7 overall this year and 3-7 in Big Ten play. The two teams with end the series on Sunday afternoon. First pitch for that contest is set for 1:05 p.m. at Hawks Field.
