Adrian Martinez had a strong performance in Nebraska's 53-28 win against Minnesota, completing nearly 90-percent of his passes for three touchdowns through the air, while also adding a score on the ground.
With the way he's been playing some forget he's only a freshman.
"Some things you can't learn without just playing experience," Martinez said. "I feel really good right now, really a big credit to the coaches and the guys I have around me, they make it really easy."
"I had no idea he was 25 of 29," Head Coach Scott Frost said. "Those are senior numbers, those aren't 18-year-old numbers. I'm glad he's here."
Martinez finished Saturday with 276 yards passing and 125 yards rushing. He threw no interceptions for the second time in 2018.
