At the Outland Trophy Award Dinner Wednesday night in downtown Omaha, a lot of the talk centered around Scott Frost. And one of the most successful coaches in college football history, Bobby Bowden, added to the Frost conversation.
"I think [Frost] is the perfect fit for Nebraska," said Bowden, the only coach in major college football history to claim 14 straight 10-win seasons. "You know [Frost] is going to give you every drop he's got."
Bowden received the fourth annual National Outland Trophy Tom Osborne Legacy Award. Houston defensive lineman, Ed Oliver, was awarded the Outland Trophy.
