On Sunday, former Nebraska quarterback and Central Florida head coach Scott Frost was introduced as the Huskers' head coach.
After much speculation, it was officially announced Saturday that Frost was taking the job in Lincoln. Social media was abuzz and the athletic department was equally excited. Frost said he was thrilled to be back and athletic director Bill Moos said he got "the pick of the litter," when it came to coaching candidates.
"I think this state is hungry when it comes to unity. When I was here under coach Osborne, there was unity and purpose," Frost said. "This program needs that again."
Frost also said under him, Nebraska will work harder than anyone else and he can't wait to turn this program around.
