Nebraska punter Caleb Lightbourn was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after his performance against No. 22 Oregon. Lightbourn’s final three punts were all inside the Oregon 20-yard line. He also set a career-long 58 yard punt during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 35-32 win. Lightbourn set a personal best average of 47.2 yards on his five punts.
The Huskers (3-0) head to Evanston, Illinois to take on Northwestern for their first away game of the season. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) on BTN.
