Huskers blow 17 point lead, lose to Colorado in overtime

BOULDER, Col. (KMTV) — The Nebraska football team blew a 17 point halftime lead, losing to Colorado in overtime on Saturday, 34-31.

The Huskers jumped out to a 17-0 cushion in the first 30 minutes.

Colorado then scored the next 14 points before NU went up 24-14 on a 75 yard touchdown run by Maurice Washington.

The Buffs quickly answered with a seven yard touchdown run to make it a 24-21 Big Red advantage.

CU tied it with a 26 yard field goal with just over eight minutes remaining.

Nebraska responded with an eight play, 75 yard drive capped off by a six yard touchdown run by Adrian Martinez.

But the Buffaloes wouldn't go away with a 26 yard touchdown pass with 46 seconds remaining in regulation.
