After losing quarterback Tanner Lee to the NFL Draft last week, the Huskers found out late Sunday night another junior is leaving the program as well to test the pro football waters.
NU offensive lineman Nick Gates announced he will forego his senior season and declare for the NFL Draft.

Gates was a 3rd team All-Big Ten selection back in 2016 by the media.
The Nevada native started 26 straight games at left tackle, setting a Nebraska record at that position previously held by Richie Incognito.
