The networks and kickoff times for six of the 2018 Nebraska football season games were announced Thursday just after 2 p.m.
The first game of the season, Scott Frost's debut, is scheduled for Sept. 1 at 7 p.m on Fox. Akron will travel to Lincoln to take on the Huskers.
ABC will televise the Huskers-Buffaloes Sept. 8. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. in Lincoln. The Nebraska-Colorado rivalry dates back to 1898 and has many fans excited for a re-match. The last 17 matchups between the two teams were televised by ABC.
The following times and networks were also released:
- Nebraska v. Troy, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. on the Big Ten Network
- Nebraska v. Purdue, Sept. 29 at either 2:30 or 3 p.m., network is TBA.
- Nebraska at Northwestern, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m., network TBA
- Nebraska at Iowa, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. on Fox.
