James Palmer Jr. announced this afternoon that he will be heading to Lincoln, according to a report from CBS Sports. The Miami guard visited Lincoln earlier this week. The 6-foot-3, 180 pound shooting guard will have to sit out this upcoming season due to NCAA transfer rules. Palmer will have two years of eligibility remaining.

 

 

As a true freshman, Palmer started just five games while averaging 3.7 ppg and 13.3 minutes-per-game. Palmer saw a down tick in minutes his sophomore year, averaging just 11.6 minutes -per-game. The Huskers have two remaining scholarships for the 2016 class.
