Nebraska's Anna Filipcic was named Big Ten Diver of the Week after her performance at Iowa State for the Huskers season opener. This adds up to be Filipcic's sixth Big Ten Conference Diver-of-the-Week honor. Nebraska started off the season with a victory over Iowa State on Oct. 8 where Filipcic claimed the one-meter title with a score of 315.08 along with the three-meter diving event title with a total of 328.88. Her performance at Iowa State has qualified her for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships later this season.
The Huskers take on South Dakota State in Brookings on Friday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m.
