We conclude our OSI Pigskin Previews with the defending state champs in Class A, Bellevue West. For the first time in school history, the Thunderbirds hoisted a state title inside Memorial Stadium last November.
"We know that the target is out there and we're going to do everything we can to make that target as small as possible," said Michael Huffman, Bellevue West head coach.
The Thunderbirds return nine starters from last season's squad, including senior quarterback Joe Dolincheck. Bellevue West kicks off its title defense on Thursday night against Papillion La-Vista South.
