OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Volunteers from Council Bluffs Community Schools stepped up to host a drive-up food pantry at a local athletic complex and provide free meals for families in need on Monday.
They handed out 28 lb pre-packaged boxes filled with canned foods, pasta and rice.
Additionally, volunteers offered produce, bread, vegetables and fruit.
Normally, the pantry is held at Wilson Middle School monthly.
Monday’s pantry was a way to help serve others while following social distancing guidelines.
