Creighton's first road trip of the year was not a pleasant one. They traveled to Assembly Hall and were shelled by #14 Indiana 86-65.
The Jays fell down early and could never find their way back against a Hooseir team that shot 50% from the field. Maurice Watson Jr. led the way for Creighton with 21 points on the night. Omaha Benson product, Khyri Thomas, was the only other Jay in double-digits.
Creighton's downfall was their cold shooting from behind the arc and from the free throw line. The Jays were just 3-17 from long range, and they shot just 50% from the line.
Creighton returns to action on Monday against Rutgers.
