Storm Chasers Drop Their Opener

The Storm Chasers dropped their season opener 6-3 to New Orleans.  It was a rough outing for the number four pitching prospect in the Royals farm system.  Miguel Almonte only lasted a third of an inning in his season debut.  He gave up five runs including a grand slam in his short time on the mound.  The bullpen filled in admirally only giving up one run in the last eight and two-thirds.  But, the damage was done as Omaha couldn't muster enough offense to complete a come back.
