Tim grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and knows all about the crazy weather the Midwest can bring. He has chased tornadoes, endured heavy snows, and braved hurricanes.
As a kid, Tim was terrified of storms, especially lightning! However, it was this fright that fueled his passion for weather, leading him to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia where he received his B.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences.
His favorite part about being a TV meteorologist is visiting elementary schools to talk to kids about the weather. Tim says the best part is “seeing their excitement when showing them clips of storms” and showing off his patented tornado machine.
Before moving to Omaha, Tim had spent the last 10 years working at KOMU-TV in Columbia, MO. One of his highlights working in Missouri was covering The Great American Eclipse of 2018.
